Our staff are employed by Cylch Meithrin Aberhonddu and are carefully chosen to ensure they provide a high level of care to our children.

All our staff are trained to NVQ level 3 or higher and those who are not, are supported to achieve this qualification. They are all fluent Welsh speakers. They are all DBS checked and all hold first aid qualifications and hygiene certificates.

We are proud of the creative team of staff we employ who have an excellent rapport with all of our children ensuring a warm, safe and welcoming environment is created.

Cylch Meithrin Aberhonddu is a charity and depends on support from our parents and carers.  This includes making certain that we fill all of the legally required committee roles that ensure the setting is managed correctly and allows it to run.

The Management Committee is made up of parents who take on the role in a voluntary capacity. We hold half termly meetings which all parents are welcome to attend. These informal meetings are where you can find out more about what is happening in Cylch Meithrin Aberhonddu and how you can get involved. This is where our social and fundraising events are organised so we encourage all parents to come along and get involved as much as possible.

Parents support the Meithrin in many practical ways such as fund raising to keep the setting going and even helping out when we are short staffed.  If you have any particular skill e.g. gardening, craft, music etc. please let us know, as we would welcome your practical help and are always open to new ideas.
